Our mission is to contribute to food, health and a better life for the future generations on a global scale.
Through our business activities, we support various initiatives to contribute to solutions for the problems of the 21st century, such as global sustainability, food resources and health, with an awareness of our institutional responsibility. We also support efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
We are working to leave behind a habitable world for future generations

In accordance with our understanding of sustainability, we put into practice social responsibility and research activities, such as protecting the environment and food resources, reducing our carbon footprint and carrying out research to counter malnutrition on a global scale.

We carry out various programs, such as protecting bonito resources and teaching children healthy eating habits.

We cooperate with non-governmental organizations and universities that work in the food and nutrition field.

Our research on amino acid focuses on solving problems of nutrition and food resources.

Participation in the UN Global Principles Contract

In July 2009, we announced our participation in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). We also expressed our commitment to the UNGC in the Ajinomoto Group Principles (AGP) document, which is the basic code of ethics shared with all our employees. “As a company with a global reach, we at the Ajinomoto Group are committed to the UNGC as an expression of our intent to act responsibly toward the international community. We are united in our efforts to help solve global issues by incorporating the ten principles of the UNGC and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through our business activities.”

We comply strictly to the sensitivities of global social responsibility in Turkey. As an example of this, Ajinomoto employees and their families, along with the Çorbada Tuzun Olsun Derneği, distributed Bizim Mutfak soup to the homeless to draw attention to the right to food on World Food Day. We are preparing to launch important social responsibility projects in the near future.
